New XM install

I just installed a new XM radio in my car.

Big Deal right?

I already had one in my Toyota - it was one of these fugly things

Which is not only ugly, but the cables I had to run to it were pretty bad too (antenna, power and auxillary).

So when I found out that the Terk adaptor for the Camry was on sale, along with the XM Direct interface - which means nothing to you other than completely integrated satellite radio. As in, direct into my factory radio, no more cables on display.

It's an installation that is normally done by the dealership, as it requires removing almost the entire dashboard.

But I did it, and I'm quite pleased.

I have had to leave the antenna on the trunk, people have luck installing theirs inside the car, but I can't figure out where, and will get a reception, so back on the trunk it goes.

Yay me :)
